Impact College Selection Program

Save the date! Sunday, September 7 at River Church will mark the launch of a new and exciting program at Impact which will aid high school players with college placement and selection. This informative meeting will offer a detailed description of the program which will begin to make the complicated task of sorting through thousands of potential schools much easier.

"There are many possible choices for college. However, if you are methodical, organized, and willing to spend the necessary time reviewing information on various colleges, you will discover there are really only a handful of schools that offer exactly what you want that meets your college and career objective," states Charlie Kadupski, Founder and CEO of The Sport Source.

This program is a very important tool for all high school age players, whether they intend to play soccer in college or simply attend college", says CSA Executive Director Shane Moore. "Having all this mass of information compiled in one place, and being able to narrow down the possibilities to the individual's strengths and interests is an invaluable resource. You can perform thousands of miles of research from the convenience of your PC or tablet without having to step onto a college campus."

"The Sport Source educational college planning tools are designed to help families and players take the guess work out of where and how to find the right college, both academically and athletically," added Kadupski.
"It should be the goal of every youth program to prepare its players for the next level," said CSA Impact Technical Director Alex Pama. "For HS age players this means college soccer. We strive for excellence on the field and in the classroom. Our staff and program are dedicated to provide the very best for our members. Working with a company such as The Sport Source not only underlines this, but also assures us that our athletes and their families are well prepared for college athletics and the process leading up to players continuing their soccer careers beyond the age of 18."

The College Selection Program is just another layer in what makes up the wide array of development at Impact. The club held its first annual college showcase, SHOWCASE ATLANTA, in January with over 80 college coaches from all divisions were represented. The event was a huge success drawing teams from seven states. Many of our players have been contacted by schools from the resultant exposure. The event will be held again on January 16-18, 2015 at Badger Creek Park.

WHAT: COLLEGE SELECTION PROGRAM

WHO: U14-U19 Boys and Girls are required to be represented

COST: FREE for current U14-U19 Select Boys and Girls. All others may attend the meeting and participate in the program for: $90.00 annual fee (Impact members) / $225.00 annual fee (non-Impact members).
